Description

A tor is basically just a rocky outcrop that rises about 500- 1000 feet. This is the only tree on the tor, contorted into various shapes at mercy of the wind. It stubbornly defies being uprooted despite constantly facing the elements of nature..

Nice shot but it certainly isnt the only tree on the tor there are at least 10 and not very far from this one. If you get the chance to return there is a fantastic windswept tree half way up on the west face which i visit regularly.
